Happy Valentines' Day everyone! As you would know, I'm not really big on celebrations. Perhaps this sort of mindset comes with age. Like I always say, Valentines Day should be everyday! Haha... But well, just because the kids at school were so hyped up about it, I decided we could make 'Love Cards' today. I specifically didn't mention the big V-Day as you know, it's always a bit sensitive sometimes in schools. So instead, I played it safe and got the kiddos to talk about people they love. Mommies, Daddies, Siblings, Teachers, Pet doggies, Pet fishes... And so we all did happy love cards for these people. Just so we could tell them how much we love them! We looked at different flowers, smelled them, touched them, some of us squashed them, we looked at their shapes and sizes and talked about why people gave flowers when they want to show love, etc. It was quite funny the stuff the kids said. Made my morning! Ah.... I love my job. I always feel like I'm about to explode into a million stars whenever I talk about how happy working with the children makes me feel. Am I crazy?! Hah!Anyway, I'm off to have a nice shower post torturous boxing class. Thank you awesome colleagues for motivating me to join in. Though I felt like I almost died, I know it's good for me. Haha. Alrightyo! See you all again soon : )
PS: Artwork above is something I have in progress. I'm going to be working with the lovely guys from The Hungry Workshop and we're going to make special letter pressed prints!
This heart is just fabulous!! My husband is the pasta king-can't go more than a few days without it. He would love this!
