By the time you read this, I'll probably be on my way to Tasmania! Darren and I decided I needed a break and Tasmania was on our 'to-go to' list. We've never been there before and we've heard so much good things about it. So, one thing led on to the other and we're off on a holiday! I'll be back next week, but until then, I'll leave you with a new piece I've just completed minutes ago. Along with all these work in progress shots I took along the way. I've actually uploaded it all onto instagram, but just thought I'd share. It's always nice when everything's pieced together in one big long post, rather than in bits and pieces right?

As you can tell, I've already got all the seafood yumminess in my head. Can't wait to taste those prawns, mussels and oysters while at the bay. I heard Tassie's pretty awesome when it comes to seafood. YUM! See you guys back here next week. Oh and just a little heads up, bookings for my upcoming succulent painting class opens next week! Enjoy your time wherever you are, and stay warm!
ohh i've been wanting to visit tasmania for ages!!! let us know how you go ^_^
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, enjou your holliday!
ReplyDeleteI'm a local, I can give you an itinerary if you'd like... But places where you must go include Freycinet National Park on the East Coast, cradle mountain, Cataract Gorge and Josef Chromy Vineyard in Launceston Salamanca in Hobart and definitely go see the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart. It's world class. The food here is amazing. So enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your progress pictures on Instagram, they always give me something lovely to look at on dull days! XO Beck
