GIVEAWAY TIME!

Giveaway Prize PackGiveaway Prize PackGiveaway Prize Pack!Giveaway Prize pack!
I finally relaunched my online shop yesterday! After weeks of hard work and no sleep. YAY! I must thank Darren and give him all credit for he's the clever man behind the scenes fixing up everything for me. I only had to state what I wanted, where I wanted them to be placed, edit and crop all images, do the writing, basically be the overbearing big boss lady. Haha! And Darren did practically everything else! Including proof-reading. Thank you Darren, you're such an awesome possum!

To celebrate the launch of my new shop, here's a giveaway! Everything that's pictured above will go to a special new home. Prize pack includes my limited edition Vegetable chart giclee print, 3 A4 recipe prints, 2 Macaron pincushions and my A- Z zine. (Both of which were made over 2 years ago!) so they're really no longer available anymore. The whole pack's worth about $165. And you never know, it might just be your lucky day today!

Please leave a comment, followed by your email address (Very important!) on this post. Feel free to share something fun/interesting about your country. Would love to know where all my readers are from. And I reckon it's always nice to know some little fun facts about different countries too. I'll draw and announce a winner this Thursday, March 22nd. So check back here then! Good luck and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that YOU might just be the lucky winner!

PS: Only 7 spots left for my upcoming adult watercolour class!

Congrats lamina! You're the lucky winner of my giveaway! I'll be emailing you shortly. Thanks everyone for joining in the fun. I really loved reading every single one of your comments!

  7. Hi, I'm Candy, and I live in Brisbane. Love your work, it is so amazing, quirky and fun. As a fellow Aussie, I am sure you already know enough about Australians, so let me tell you something about Queenslanders...they often complain when it rains!! But I happen to love the rain. It's looking like rain here now. :)

Eeekk. CROSSING MY FINGERS AND TOES! I'm just over the ditch from you, in New Zealand!

An interesting piece of news I found out today is we are running out of stock of marmite (a disgusting black bread spread) which is a Kiwi favourite (not for me) because the Christchurch factory was effected during the Earthquakes.. so no more Marmite! (yay).. until July-ish.. I much prefer having Nutella with lemon curd spread. nom nom :D

I've even tried doing watercolour for my art project for this term. Its going.. alright haha! Painting apples. So i get to sit in class eating apples and painting them tehe.

    HAVE A FANTASTICA-DOODLE DAY ;D

I'm from Sydney where there are many wonderful places to visit. However one of my favourites is the Paddington Reserve. Grab some treats from the local deli's or cake shops and create a picnic to have in the old renovated reservoir. It is really beautiful place to sit, take time out or catch up with friends.

  19. HEY DAWN!

I'm from sunny Singapore~ Personally what I like about Singapore is its cosmopolitanism, i.e. about Singapore having people from all over the world living here :) More specifically, I love it when I can talk to the Japanese here in their native tongue (because I'm learning it!) and we become friends from there! Heehee. ♥

  20. I want that lovely pack so badly!!!

Ok apart from all these excitements, let me brief about myself first. I'm from Malaysia, specifically Terengganu (there are 14 states here in Malaysia, ha!). Basically Terengganu is located at the coastal area, so you can expect lots of beautiful beaches to visit around, and my favourite one is of course Perhentian Island because the corals are unique :D. The funny fact about Malaysians is that we are never tired of drinking Teh Tarik and Nasi Lemak for our breakfast, because there are beyond deli and mouth-watering :DD

  24. Well hello there! Firstly I want to say that your store looks AWESOME. So clean and easy to navigate. The things you can do with big cartel! And what a man Darren is. Nice one. Although he can't take credit for the pretty watercolour paintings on there now, can he?

I feel a bit naughty entering this as I have scored myself a place in your upcoming class. But not so much that I am not going to enter anyway. Haha.

I live in Melbourne, like you, and I am sure there is nothing that I can tell you about our wonderful city that you don't already know! Although, I did go to a fantastic dumpling restaurant in Kew today that I had never heard of before. Chinese Jin Dumpling House. Deeee-licious!

  25. Hello! Love your new shop (and the current blog header...makes me crave salad, so that's an added bonus)! Oh boy I would love to win this prize pack, especially as the macarons would fit in perfectly with the colour scheme I've planned for my future niece/nephew's nursery!

I am also from Australia but from the west coast. Here are some facts about Perth: we are the sunniest capital in the world, we have the largest inner city park in the world (King's Park) and the largest number of "self-made" millionaires per capita. However, we are also the most isolated capital city in the world, which is why nearly all my friends have moved to Melbourne.

I've been following you and your lovely changing store for a while now, it's always so fun. I live in the capital which is quite nice and currently freezing and rainy. This is such a disjointed comment, sorry!

I finished art school last year! And am currently stuck writing countless art history and english essays to finish my degree... I don't think I've had a chance to draw properly since going back to uni. It's so lovely that you are able to keep up with your busy life and still draw such wonderful things!

  46. Hey ! Excited about the giveaway ! Darling prints... And the macarons... I live in Paris and we have the edible kind of macarons here ;-) My favorites come from Ladurée and the flavor is "muguet" (lily of the valley I think), ephemeral, and made at the beginning of May because on May 1st (which is also the Fête du Travail, roughly Labor Day) everyone buys muguet for themselves and their loved ones. I love the smell of it !

  64. Hi Dawn. I am from Hong Kong and I came to Melbourne in 2009 to study. Right now Im doing psychology in monash. Apart from studying, I gym and do ballet in my free time.
I went to your drawing class end of last year. Well I was quite nervous about it before the class because I wasnt really good at drawing or painting. My precious times in secondary school were occupied by studies, after-school tutorial classessssss, piano lessons and tennis lessons < kinda of typical for a normal school kid from Hong Kong. I really had fun and learnt in your class, I wish I could do painting lessons back in secondary school, but i guess it's never too late to learn :pp
I know you are doing your postgrad. It's must be hard to work and study at the same time, but you can do it!!!!!
